Character Information
Name: Pyrrha Nikos
Series: Rwby
Appearance: Pyrrha still mostly resembles her canon appearance, with just one main difference. That being that her hair is noticeably shorter, now just a bob-cut instead of the long ponytail. Besides that, she's same old Pyrrha.
Age: 18
Canon Point: During her fight with Cinder in Volume 3
Transferring From: Airlocked
Canon History: A wiki for all ya needs
Canon Personality: There is always that one person that acts as a model of goodness. The kind of person you probably want to aspire to be. Pyrrha is that person.

From a moment's glance it's easy to see Pyrrha walks with the certainty and grace of a far more seasoned huntress. Her stride is full of purpose, and she seems to exude confidence wherever she goes. Even among the many skilled students of Beacon, she stands out in terms of raw talent as an exceptional individual. She's a wise and strategic minded individual, won multiple regional tournaments, even had her face on the cover of a cereal box which even she'll admit is pretty cool. In battle Pyrrha thrives and flows, to the point that even she's admitted to feeling blessed with this natural talent.

...And of course, it's underneath this confidence in her fighting skills that those closer to her will find a deep lack of confidence in her social life. For as popular and well-known in the hunter world as she is, Pyrrha is surprisingly humble about her achievements, gracious when they're brought up even if she grows uncomfortable with the attention it brings her. Due to her stardom, she was alienated by her peers on the basis that she was simply too good for anyone, leading to a lack of interaction. Still, she grows more sociable and relaxed as time goes on, due to getting to know the rest of teams JNPR and RWBY and finally gaining some friends. It's this very reason, this overwhelming popularity, that causes her to take a shine to Jaune Arc, as he didn't even know her name at first, and looked past her popularity to see her as just another person. For these reasons, and the fact she can see good in even Jaune, she is content to take a step back and let their leader find his own way, quietly chiming in with help and advice when asked.

Even still, some parts of Pyrrha's humble personality hold her back. Her reputation precedes her, and honestly, she doesn't enjoy it. After so long of being isolated due to others being intimidated by her achievements, she's developed a shy personality that makes her a bit of a doormat to people, and her friends to a lesser extent. Not to mention that Pyrrha's romantic ventures are almost non-existent, on account of her alienated background, and tendency to swallow her own feelings to help others instead. This gets particularly bad for her when she starts giving Jaune romance advice on how he can pick up Weiss... while she's been trying to do the same with him. Even in battle, she prefers to take a back seat to her teammates and only offer advice from the side, though she is perfectly capable as a natural quick thinker.

But pick a fight with Pyrrha and see what happens. Again, as both a huntress in training and even an example of what the teachers at Beacon want students to become, Pyrrha doesn't stand for those that would rather cause trouble, either on large or small scales. Those that do things like being racist to the Faunus in and around Beacon get zero sympathy from Pyrrha, and she's all too happy to teach some bullies a lesson if they don't see reason at first.

This leads into one of Pyrrha's biggest flaws, and ultimately the one that costs her dearly: her heroic selflessness. As a huntress in training, one of Pyrrha's life-long goals for her future is to be a hero to the people. To protect the weak and even save the world is something she seems to almost long for, since it would definitely be putting her skills to good use. This and her honest belief in destiny - of something everyone is working towards in their lives - are part of why she ultimately agrees to Ozpin's dangerous plan to transfer the maiden powers to her - if it is what she was chosen to do, why should she refuse? And though, when that fails, Pyrrha rushes off to fight Cinder single-handedly but not before making sure Jaune may escape and keep him from stopping her. As Ozpin informed her, she would "only get in the way" if she tried to fight back. But she has the means to do so, and even if she doesn't come back, to Pyrrha, that makes it all worth a try.

Ultimately, Pyrrha's responsibilities weighed more heavily on her then even she wanted to realize until it was too late. No matter how strong she was, the combination of the people's expectations on her, and her own goodnatured desire to make something great of herself, brought everything to a breaking point around when she accidentally killed Penny, and it simply got worse from there. Blow after blow to her self-confidence, until she ultimately decides that a likely suicidal mission is the only way to possibly try and make things right. She was a strong, kindhearted individual, but even the star student had limits to the expectations she could handle.

Personality Shifts: Waking up in Starfield Penitentiary at possibly the worst time for Pyrrha forced her through some changes rather quickly.

Suddenly in a position where no one knows her as a status symbol, Pyrrha quickly developed several strong bonds right off the bat. She gained friends, and over time developed to where she wasn't just caring for friends, but for a family she'd come to trust with her life. Friends like Max Caulfield and Touko Fukawa, who were her roommates for the longest time, grew to be like sisters to her. And she even grew beyond her previous feelings to develop affections for others, first one of her fellow captives Apollo, and then Nari Reno, who she came to love so deeply that she was willing to let herself die with her, and become "pre-engaged" to her in that order of events. These bonds she shared were so strong, in fact, that they affected her even when her new memories were removed by their captors. Phantom feelings and thoughts let her know she had connected to the survivors well before it became a fact.

As Pyrrha grew emotionally, spending months on the run with her new friends, and turning to space piracy to strike back against their captors, she was eventually struck by a revelation. After After spending so much time outside of the public eye, no longer being a doormat to the whims of others for the sake of doing what she really wanted, she realized... she hated it. She never wanted to be stuck in a position where her reputation alienated her from others again. She didn't even want to be seen in person as an "actor" during the time that they were on the run. Even still, she never held the fandom of the show in contempt, besides immediately accepting that they would have to swallow the bitter truth.

If anything, though, being put through such a terrible experience has only impacted Pyrrha's desire to do the right thing for the better. The less she needed to focus on the responsibilities pressed upon her by the public, the more free she felt. Throughout much of her time in the future, after her memories had fully returned, Pyrrha was wrought with guilt and trauma over her actions that lead to Penny's death, and the subsequent chaos. It's only recently that, with help from Penny herself and the conversations Pyrrha has had about it with her friends, she's been able to come to terms with her mistaken involvement in the downfall of Beacon. While their relationship afterwards was definitely awkward at the start, Pyrrha made it clear that she would work with Penny to save their world as soon as she could return. Though, in the meantime she also made a promise to her Flavor Ghost master, Scraggly, that she would do whatever she could to save the planet of Flavortown.

Pyrrha's language has also grown a bit more colorful, due in part to being stuck in a confined space with such figures as Leonard Church and Max Caulfield. Though despite becoming a rebellious space pirate, she still retains her modesty towards swearing, and only does it for special occasions.

Abilities: - Semblance: Ever Hunter or Huntress has a special ability exclusive to themselves. Pyrrha's semblance is polarity which grants her the power to manipulate metal objects, including some non-magnetic metals like aluminum. This allows her to lift objects possibly hundreds of pounds heavier then her and throw them at high speeds. Pyrrha normally uses this to return her weapons to her hands if she loses them. It also plays into some of her fights, where she subtlety uses it to deflect attacks and gain advantage. If needed, the power can be reduced.

- Fighting Skills: Pyrrha has trained hard for her way of life. Being both very physically fit, and mentally sharp, Pyrrha is a force to be reckoned with even without her semblance. She trained herself to use a weapon that not only worked as a lance, but a sword and long-range rifle as well. Though not to mention being capable in hand-to-hand combat too. During the time she spent in Airlocked, Pyrrha came into possession of a lasersword that she grew proficient in using, later modifying it to also be used as a gun.

- Schooling: As with physical prowess, Pyrrha is very book smart, and was a top student at Beacon's Hunter academy. She regularly performed well on tests and exams, displaying a in depth knowledge of the history and people of Remnant, as well as military tactics and battle strategies of the past and more recent years.

- Aura: Aura is the manifestation of a person's life force in the RWBY universe, and it's an ability that anyone can use, with enough training. Naturally, most hunters have their Aura unlocked, and Pyrrha is no different. Aura is used in special abilities, some weapons can channel it, or it's mostly used as a defensive barrier around the fighter. With aura, a person can be protected from potentially life-ending attacks without a scratch. But Aura has limits, and extensive use or damage of it can break the barrier and leave the user exhausted and unprotected. This can be nerfed to where just a few hits might break her Aura, or however is needed.

- The Flavor: A new pickup from her time in Airlocked. Pyrrha, like every person taken from their worlds to be put into a murderous TV show, was injected with nanites based on apparently extinct microorganisms that have a hand in the Flavortown belief called "The Flavor". It's basically the Force, with several key abilities like telekinesis and the ability to sense others strong in it, plus becoming a Flavor Ghost upon death if one is sufficiently trained. Pyrrha, while noted to be the "Luke Sykwalker" level of strong in it, has only trained enough to gain an average level of control over the Flavor. So she merely has some control over the telekinesis aspect, and that's it.

Inventory:
- Heart-shaped diamond necklace
- Scroll: an electronic device about the general size of a phone when closed and sealed. It opens up into a holographic tablet capable of keeping notes, and calling others.
- Laser sword: a long metal broom that collapses into a hilt that sprouts a blue energy blade. Has been modified to work as a gun as well. Due to being the former possession of a space janitor, it is waterproof.
- Please list the items upon your character's person on arrival, including the amount of each item (i.e., how much ammunition they might have). A brief explanation of each item's purpose and function is greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that all items will have suffered water damage unless sealed, and that technology in particular will have been affected as detailed in the FAQ even if sealed.
